Comments about Bowflex MAX Trainer M3:

I try to use the Max trainer at least 3x per week. I like that it has several program options, which will hopefully keep me from getting tired of using this machine. I've only had it for a couple of months, so we'll see! It is very easy to use. It is a little on the big side and there's no way to "break it down", so have a space ready because you won't be sliding this in a closet or under your bed when it's not in use.

The Max Trainer is awesome. I would only workout every so often, but now I use the Max Trainer 4 times a week and have lost 5 lbs. already in just 2 weeks and have toned alot of muscle areas with this equipment. I would def guarantee this product. Took only an hour to put together and I did it myself with no help. It is a little noisy, but not too extreme.

I used to work out faithfully and after some health problems and family tragedies, I easily fell out of the habit. I am attempting to make my comeback using the max trainer, I Love the ease of the use, the little space I need for it, the machine is quiet and operates smoothly. I can really feel it when I am working out and afterwards as well. I am still in the beginning stages of making this a habit, but I love using this machine so much and look forward to the day that I can say that it really has become a habit.

This machine has an addictive motion that is easy on the knees and body. You will sweat buckets without joint pain. Other machines always made me feel like I was wasting time because of the lack of sweat and motion that feels like the machine is working for you. This is the real deal. I plan on writing another review when I have reached my weight loss goal.

        • Q:

Hello. I'm so excited to see this product! I've been waiting for this since I saw the Bowflex Tread Climber. With my line of work, (caring for elderly), I sometimes have to move. What would the recommendations be for moving the machine to a new address? I.E. use a hand truck, packing requirements, etc. Could the machine be broken down somewhat as well, or does it have to stay completely assembled for a move? Thanks! :)
Asked on 6/28/2014 by Validivee from Hawaii

          1 answer

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

Moving the machine should be a simple affair! Not only is it fairly light-weight, but it also has transport wheels for moving it around. Just tip it back, and roll it where it's needed to be. If you're needing to cut down the size for moving purposes, the arms and legs (attached during the initial assembly) can be easily removed with just a few bolts to slim down the footprint of the machine for transport.

Can the MAX Trainer be used on a medium pile carpet with underlying pad? I'm not too worried about the long term compression of the carpet but more about the machine's stability.

As a lymes sufferer, I am told not to do heavy cardio workouts. I am allowed to do low impact exercise for strength, toning, and stretching. Can I use this at a less intensive pace and still get results?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

We highly recommend that you check with your doctor regarding your particular exercise needs. The MAX Trainer M3 is a very popular machine, largely because it is designed to be very low impact. However, your experience is subjective, so we cannot determine whether or not the machine would be right for you. We highly recommend seeking professional assistance before making any decisions regarding a purchase.

Good Morning, is the range for the 8 Resistance Levels the same for the M3 as the 16 levels on the M5? Meaning, is the max setting on the M3 the same degree of difficulty as the M5.
Asked on 3/9/2014 by Curtis from Ocala, Fl.

          1 answer

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

This is a great question! The resistance levels minimum and maximum on the M3 will be the same as those on the M5. The M5 has more range in the levels than the M3 but they are the same at the beginning and the end.

Any indication as to its available functions would also be helpful.
