I love to be able to get my workout in 1st thing in the a.m., shower, & have the day ahead of me. We changed our "office" into our gym...music, TV, natural light - nothing fancy - but it just works.

This purchase was a big decision - I didn't want to have it sitting collecting dust, but honestly, so far, I'm just loving it! Works out legs, arms, core, & cardio - Thank You!

Comments about Bowflex MAX Trainer M3:

I love my bowflex M3. I switch up use the interval training 3days a week then the next week I do five days at a good pace for 40 minutes. My back and knees do not bother me and my Heart rate for my age 36 on this machine at a good pace is 147 so you will be able to burn the calories you need doing the interval training or at your own pace. The bow flex is like your doing some good knee raises/climbing stairs/boxing movements with your arms plus working your abs from the knee raises along with contracting your abs back an forth doing the arm movements at a smooth pace once your body get use to it. I'm looking great feeling great and shedding my weight. This machine works your total body. Once you get started on it your going to be eager to get right back at your next workout. That's why I do five days a week. Lol

I find this a fun way to get a workout when the weather is not cooperative for skiing, running, or walking. You quickly get up to a good heart rate and by doing intervals or dialing up the resistance get a good muscular workout as well. Just really a killer machine and can tell it is improving my fitness and overall tone. Plenty of resistance as you gain strength. Just a great cross-training tool that works fantastic alternating with a Bowflex weight machine. Don't be intimidated by the assembly. As usual from Bowflex, the manual is excellent and overall assembly took me about one hour. All you need is included.

Comments about Bowflex MAX Trainer M3:

It can't get any better than this! The MAX Trainer is small but mighty. I have a commercial treadmill and LifeFitness G5 weight lifting equipment in the garage, but I'd rather use the MAX Trainer because I achieve better results in less time. This machine wins over the other machines hands-down. I use the MAX Trainer to lose weight, and improve my endurance and muscle tone. 30 minutes, five times a week is my usual workout and I go "gung ho" on it. Unless you are training to become an Olympic athlete, do not look any further. Buy the MAX Trainer!

When doing intervals, your entire body is engaged, including your core, and I can feel all of my muscles working. I keep glancing in the mirror to my side and can see my back muscles popping out, so awesome!!

Good Morning, is the range for the 8 Resistance Levels the same for the M3 as the 16 levels on the M5? Meaning, is the max setting on the M3 the same degree of difficulty as the M5.

                    A:

This is a great question! The resistance levels minimum and maximum on the M3 will be the same as those on the M5. The M5 has more range in the levels than the M3 but they are the same at the beginning and the end.

Can you provide some information on the M3"s chest strap monitor? I have carefully looked over your web site and have found no photos or description as to its length connection or how it is maintained out of harm’s way during use of this product. Any indication as to its available functions would also be helpful.

The chest monitor is wireless. The chest strap rests comfortably on your body (goes around your chest) and provides an accurate heart rate.

If I am 70" tall, how much ceiling clearance is required? I know max height of pedal is ~20" but the knee of the upper leg will be bent (lower leg fully extended) during the stride so it is unlikely I will be standing fully upright on the upper pedal at anytime.
